¡ZUMBA! (a loose Spanish term for the buzzing sound a bee makes) founded by Nicholas Radina, is Cincinnati's premier small Latin ensemble specializing in the sensuous, classic music of Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. The smooth tropical rhythms of son, guajira, jibaro and salsa keep the audience moving, grooving and dancing all night long. The six-piece group plays in the authentic old world style featuring a mix of the cuatro (ten-string Puerto Rican instrument), acoustic bass, sax/flute, percussion topped off with the sensual vocals from puerto rican native, Carmen Vélez.
